Sardinia Boat Show included in the 2026 Made in Italy National Day calendar

The Sardinia Boat Show has been officially included in the calendar of the 2026 Made in Italy National Day (GNMI), the initiative promoted by the Italian Ministry of Enterprises and Made in Italy to enhance national production excellence and strengthen its international positioning.

Celebrated on April 15, the anniversary of Leonardo da Vinci’s birth, the GNMI represents a nationwide and international event programme, with more than 800 events scheduled between March 20 and May 10, 2026. The initiative showcases the strength of Italian know-how, resulting from the combination of tradition, innovation, and local identity.

Within this framework, the inclusion of the Sardinia Boat Show is of strategic importance, as it recognizes the event as a platform for the development of the blue economy, one of the emerging and high-potential sectors of Made in Italy. Alongside traditional industries, the nautical sector and the maritime economy play a key role in sustainable growth, technological innovation, and the competitiveness of the national production system.

Sardinia stands out for its structured and internationally recognized nautical production system, supported by regional policies, advanced services, and specialized skills that contribute to business growth and strengthen the sector’s positioning in its reference markets. Within this ecosystem, the Sardinia Boat Show serves as a platform for showcasing and enhancing territorial excellence.

The Sardinia Boat Show, scheduled in Porto Rotondo from May 7 to May 10, 2026, confirms its role as a Euro-Mediterranean promotional and exhibition event, as well as a hub connecting businesses, institutions, research, and education. The 2026 edition is expected to grow further in terms of exhibitors, boats, and visitors, consolidating the development path established in previous editions.

The event programme will include in-depth sessions, talks, and seminars involving universities, research centres, and industry stakeholders, fostering dialogue on innovation, skills, and the development of professional profiles within the nautical sector.

The inclusion of the Sardinia Boat Show in the official Made in Italy National Day calendar reinforces its positioning as a showcase of excellence in the nautical and maritime sector, contributing to the promotion of Sardinia and Italy as territories of innovation, quality, and productive culture.
