Novaq: NSS Group plans aluminium tender production in Olbia
A new manufacturing project is taking shape within Gallura’s nautical supply chain. NSS Group, led by Simone Morelli, plans to begin producing Novaq aluminium tenders and RIBs in Olbia in 2028. Unveiled at the Genoa Boat Show, the brand marks the group’s move from distribution to developing its own range.
A new facility for manufacturing and refit
The Olbia project covers approximately three hectares and will also accommodate catamaran outfitting and refit activities. A dedicated workshop is planned for RIB construction and outfitting, bringing hull manufacturing, customisation and final assembly together at the new site. Initial boats are currently being built through an industrial partner.
Italian design and configurable layouts
Developed with designer Davide Cipriani, the Novaq offering comprises three lines: Zero, Dolce Vita and Gran Turismo, ranging from 2.50 to 4.60 metres. Rigid aluminium hulls and configurable components, layouts and equipment underpin an approach designed around owners’ requirements and the boat’s intended use.
For Sardinia, the project offers the prospect of broadening its yachting manufacturing expertise, connecting construction, outfitting and technical services. It could strengthen Gallura’s role as a base for industrial activities serving the international nautical market.
