The Boat Show featured in Forbes Italia between bio-methanol and education
The Sardinia Boat Show has received significant recognition in Forbes Italia, strengthening its role as a key event for the boating sector and sustainable economy. The most recent edition recorded the participation of over 200 vessels and more than 150 exhibitors.
The publication devoted particular attention to the project focused on the production of bio-methanol from organic waste, promoted by Cipnes Gallura with the support of the Regione Sardegna, the Comune di Olbia, the Politecnico di Milano, and Sanlorenzo S.p.A. as industrial partner. This initiative, unprecedented on a global scale, aims to make Sardinia the first European region to produce and use renewable fuel for superyachts.
Forbes Italia also highlighted the educational offering, mentioning the newly established Master’s degree course in naval engineering, the result of a collaboration between UniOlbia, the Università degli Studi di Cagliari, Sassari, Napoli (Federico II), and Atitech.
The next appointment with the fifth edition is scheduled for 2026.
