Ferretti brings the new Itama 70 to Sardinia

The world’s leading yachting brands continue to view Sardinia as a premier stage for unveiling their latest innovations. Following Azimut, Ferretti Group has chosen the island for the debut of the new Itama 70, a model that marks a new chapter in the evolution of one of Italy’s most iconic yachting brands. Its presence further reinforces Sardinia’s growing reputation as a key reference point for the international yachting industry.

Presented during the exclusive Itama Power Circle event, the new Itama 70 builds on the heritage of the historic shipyard while reinterpreting its distinctive identity through a contemporary lens. The project is the result of a collaboration between Ferretti Group’s Product Strategy Committee and Engineering Department, with exterior styling by Vallicelli Design and interior design by IdeaeItalia. The outcome is a yacht that combines performance, design and innovation while preserving the unmistakable character that has always defined the Itama brand.

The decision to unveil the new model in Sardinia reflects the island’s growing importance within the international yachting landscape. Alongside its world-renowned coastline, Sardinia has developed a competitive ecosystem of businesses, specialised services, infrastructure and expertise, creating the ideal environment to support the growth of an industry that continues to evolve.

With a portfolio that includes prestigious brands such as Ferretti Yachts, Riva, Pershing, Itama, Custom Line, CRN and Wally, Ferretti Group stands among the world’s leading ambassadors of Italian yachting excellence. As CEO Stassi Anastassov has highlighted, the Group’s continued growth is driven by its ability to innovate while preserving the unique identity of each brand, safeguarding their heritage and internationally recognised value.

Ferretti’s decision is part of an increasingly evident trend: Sardinia is no longer seen solely as a world-class cruising destination, but as a territory that continues to strengthen its credibility among the industry’s leading players. Each new project unveiled on the island enhances its international profile, further consolidating Sardinia’s role as a strategic hub for the blue economy and the Mediterranean yachting industry.
